Instagram is one of the best applications I've used in recent years, and it has helped me a lot in my artistic development. It's a social network where the main attraction is that everything is shared through photographs. One of its pros is that it has an image search system based on the hashtag, where you can write what interests you and get related images. When it comes to seeking inspiration or references for my work I always go to Instagram, looking for different hashtag or profiles of artists that resemble what I want to do. But one of its cons is that, being a massive social network, it tends to have many images and sometimes it can be difficult to find what you are looking for. Sometimes it overwhelms me to see so many images, my finger gets tired from scrolling down the screen. Despite these things I still use instagram, because I think it is an open space for artistic expression and recognition. I know it will continue to help me in what's left of my career.
